Modified Worship Schedules for March 15
March 13, 2020The Pastors and Elders of the Lake Forest Family of Churches are going to partner with our governing authorities in doing our part to help limit the spread of the coronavirus. In light of this, we will alter our worship services this Sunday, March 15 and any gatherings of more than 100 people at all of our locations as recommended by the NC Department of Health and Human Services . We love our community and want to continue to be a church that makes decisions of compassion for the most vulnerable in our midst.
In exchange of our in-person Sunday gatherings, please join us on March 15 for these online worship services:
Lake Forest Huntersville & WestLake: 10am this Sunday via Livestream or Facebook.
Lake Forest Davidson: 10am on Facebook Live
It is critical that the body of Christ continue to gather in worship, especially in these circumstances and we are so thankful that technology allows us to still come together as a community.
In this worship service, our pastors will address ways we as a faith community should approach these circumstances and give lots of ideas of how you can be a light in our community at this time. We hope you will gather as a family or small group or with a few friends/neighbors on Sunday to encourage one another in faith.
Thank you for your grace to us as we process and respond to evolving information and protocols. We will continue to closely monitor requests made by government officials and quickly communicate any decisions we make for future Sundays and all other church activities. (Be on the lookout for email communication regarding any schedule changes for specific classes and groups you are involved with.)
