LFC – WestLake

At LFC-WestLake, we strive to foster a safe community for spiritual explorers, to be an encouraging partner for followers of Jesus Christ and to be a refuge for people who’ve given up on church, but not on God. No matter where you are in your spiritual journey, as long as you don’t have it all together, you’ll fit right in.

We currently meet on Sundays at Sally’s YMCA in Denver while we build our future home on St. James Church Road. We are just four weeks away from our first Sunday in our new building on August 22nd!

WORSHIP SCHEDULE

  • In-Person: Sundays at 9:30am, Sally’s YMCA
  • Online: Sundays at 9:30am on Facebook (no FB account needed) and on YouTube

In-Person Worship Safety
We’ve been following guidelines set by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Safety. We are no longer requiring masks or registration for Sunday services, but if you would like to be on an email list to receive any health and safety updates, as well as various church news, you can fill out this form.

  • Your First Visit

    Weekend Services: Sundays at 9:30am
We meet in the gymnasium of Sally’s YMCA. Our parking attendants will help guide you to the parking areas and into the building.  No need to dress up: our worship services are designed to be casual but meaningful and typically lasts about 65 minutes.

Our time together is a mashup of compelling Biblical teaching, prayer, great music, space for quiet reflection, and hopefully some laughter as well.

    We’d love to meet you.
When you make your first visit, stop by our information center in the lobby area. Someone from our team will be there to welcome you and answer any questions you may have.

    Children (Babies-5th Grade)

When children come to LFC they are cared for by nurturing, trained leaders and find a connection to God and friends in fun, safe and engaging environments.

During the services on Sunday morning, we have age appropriate rooms for Babies through 5th graders where they will learn about God through skits and videos, imaginative play and games.

    Safety First
It’s important to us that you feel your kiddo is in good hands so that you can fully participate in the worship experience. Every person who works with children at LFC must first pass a background check and receive proper training.

When you arrive, we’ll check your child into the appropriate program using our computer kiosks, get to know him or her and introduce you to the leaders they will be staying with during service. Parents and kids receive matching identification tags that allow us to note any allergies or special needs your child may have, page you during the service if needed and to ensure only you can pick up your child after service.

  • Future Home: Rooted

    Permanent Home Plans

Thanks to the generosity and faithfulness of our church family, we were able to break ground on the land this Summer to begin building our church’s future home. Construction is well underway and with God’s grace, we should be able to have our first service in the Fall of 2021!

Please see our website, RootedAtWestLake.com for all information about this build, including a building fly-through and a time-lapse construction video feed!
